“So pleasantly surprised by this place. We were across the street and decided to just drop in on a whim because of one of the beautiful dresses in the window. We were not really expecting much since we did not have an appointment but instead we were greeted so warmly by the owner of the shop. Even without the appointment she invited us in and what was really nice is that instead of assuming she was a friend she immediately recognized my fiancé as my fiancé which is definitely not something we experience often as two women. I was shocked at her service and hospitality for us. Even without an appointment she offered us all of the complementary champagne and services she took the time to explain the shop to us , she listened to my thoughts about the dress, and even pulled some things that I had not thought of which turned out to be my favorites. Throughout the whole experience there it seemed like she had known us for months rather than meeting her five minutes ago. The owner is clearly in the right business, she is amazing at her job, and knows her dresses so well. Ended up finding the most gorgeous dress for my reception. There was absolutely no pressure at all from her to buy a dress, but My fiancé and I both said that we wanted to buy a dress from there just because the owner was so wonderful to us. For brides wondering about booking with Merrime, I had an appointment a few months ago and it was an absolute dream! I am plus size bride (size 22-24). I was a little nervous about finding a dress in my size. To my surprise, the staff had already put of dozens of dresses that could fit me. I almost cried because I was so happy. The fitting room is also very spacious for those wondering. I tried on a dress that was 3 feet wide approximately and still had room around me. Kira, who helped me get into the dresses was very friendly and great to chat and get along with! I definitely recommend booking a private appointment to get the ultimate experience. I will he recommending this boutique to all of my friends. You will not find a better bridal boutique in the Willamette Valley.
